How we like to keep this natural looking lip is to approach it with a low and slow method. During consultation we will assess your lip shape/structure and see what your end goal would like to be. Once we have agreed on how you would like your lips to look like we start the treatment process. At our clinic we typically don’t like treating with more then half a syringe at a time. This allows for us to build a lip over time instead of injecting all at once which can lead to fuller lips that were not desired and potential migration.

Although half a syringe does not seem like a lot, with the right technique and product it will still make a difference in slight volume, hydration and shape. Let’s break down what dermal filler is compromised of. The base for dermal filler is hyaluronic acid (HA), HA is naturally produced in our body and is a component that can hold up to 1000 times its water weight. This is beneficial for lip volumization and restoration as it gives you that nice little plump and hydrating factor it needs.
