4-6 months before Wedding: Initial consultation
– Book a consultation in as soon as you can! Your wedding will come faster than you think. During a consultation we will go over any skin concerns (acne, pigmentation, texture) and decide what treatment plan will be best for you.
Skincare routine
- Skincare routine is very important as your routine is what keeps results consistent in between treatments.
- We understand skincare can become very overwhelming which is why we like to start with the basics and work our way up over time.
- If there are skincare products that are already incorporated into your skincare routine that are working for you, we love that!
- Skincare is essential to set a healthy foundation for your skin.
- We like to educate you on the products youre using so you understand what ingredients are in them and why they are working for your skin
Treatments to consider:
- chemical peels
- Microneedling with PRP
- Medical Facials
Laser treatments: If any laser treatments with downtime are included into the treatment plan for pigmentation or fine lines, these are good to start first. Timing for downtime and any upcoming events or vacations will be discussed prior to doing any of these treatments.
Treatment timeline
- we recommend coming in every month for a treatment based off of your skin concerns. Consistency is key and will get you that glow and refreshed skin for your big day!
2-3 months before wedding: Continue regular treatments
– Your regular monthly treatments will continue as discussed in the initial consultation with your technician,
Injectables
- If you wanted to incorporate any injectables such as dermal filler or Botox/Dysport into your treatment plan these months are the perfect time to do it.
- We like to give it time before the wedding to allow the product to fully settle in and avoid any potential side effects such as bruising and swelling too close to the wedding day.
1 month before the wedding: Avoid any new treatments
- we want to avoid any risk for your skin having a reaction to anything new.
- We will only focus on treatments that your skin is used to and we have a history of knowing there are no possibilities of skin reactions
Focus on hydration and glow
- Hydration will be key the month leading up to your wedding , hydration facial treatments will be the focus in your treatment plan.
Teeth whitening
- Some brides want that extra little sparkle in their smile. This would be the best month to do so.
- Teeth whitening will lift stains that are built through daily lifestyle habits.
1-2 weeks before the wedding: Final facial treatment
- This is a prep facial treatment to get you all ready for your big day. We like to focus on dermaplanning and hydration.
- This will remove any superficial dead skin cells and peach fuzz for a smoother makeup application
No heavy exfoliation
- Avoid any harsh exfoliation during this time to prevent irritation
Hydrate!!
- The last couple of weeks before the wedding is a stressful time and time is of the essence
- Drinking at least 2L of water a day will keep that glow and hydration in the skin that you have worked hard on the last 6 months.
